Network to discuss the Ticket to Work Program.
CATS Careers Employment Network has formed partnerships with State
Vocational Rehabilitation offices nationwide to better assist consumers;
therefore, CATS will refer all consumers to Voc Rehab for ticket assignment and
provide services for Voc Rehab as a vendor.
Here are the next steps
for you:
1. Schedule a
meeting with your local Vocational Rehabilitation office.
2. Meet with
Voc Rehab as scheduled and state that you wish to assign your Ticket to Work with Voc Rehab. As an SSI ticket holder, you are already
prequalified for VR services. Your worker will accept your ticket
assignment.
3. When your
caseworker asks you “What do you want to do?” Inform your worker that you wish to enroll in the CATS Careers Post Secondary Education
Program of your choice (either Medical Office Assistant or Chiropractic
Technology).
4. Your
caseworker will call or fax Maximus and assign your ticket to VR.
5. Your worker
will complete your Individual Plan for
Employment based on your requests, so be sure of your choices.
6. Have your
worker email me at vr@catscareers.com
for cost of services (Tuition, books, supplies, and your comprehensive
vocational assessment).
7. At that
time, your worker will fax CATS an authorization
for services. This is all we need to allow you to begin the upcoming
class cycle.
8. Remember
that there is no cost to you.
